Makeup tip Tuesday

Hello lovelies! So sorry for not posting very often this month..October is almost over! I've been so busy getting ready for homecoming, but when I got my makeup done the artist told me an eyeshadow tip that I thought I'd share with you guys (:

Whenever you are working with eyeshadow, always blend, no matter what color. And always have at least three colors (light light medium; dark light medium; light medium medium etc)

I hope this helped some of you, and even though its a small switch it makes the biggest difference (:

Shirt to skirt tutorial

Hello everyone :D today I'm going to show you the steps to making a shirt into a skirt.

1. First of all, find a shirt that fits your waist and one that you don't wear anymore (this shirt was from pacsun, a hand-me-down from my sister)

2. Put the shirt on INSIDE OUT. (This is very important so you can sew the inside later) pin the sides on how tight or loose you would like, and then measure it to make sure it is straight (I wanted mine to be a pencil skirt so I pinned it to be tight)

3. Sew it along the pins and try on the skirt again

4. For my skirt I needed the top to be more rounded so I did a curve to it

5. Cut and try it on once more and you're done :D

* it may take a few tries of cutting, measuring and sewing

Hope you all enjoyed this (:

Fall Makeup Tutorial

Above is the steps on how to achieve this fabulous fall themed eye look :D
Step 1: First things first, prime your eyes. We used Urban Decays eye primer for this look.
Step 2: Apply your base color. In this case we used Sidecar, which is part of Urban Decays Naked pallet.
Step 3: Apply your crease color. We used Hustle From the Naked pallet as well.
Step 4: Make sure to add some color to your outer corner. For ours, we went with Creep from the Naked pallet.
Step 5: In this step we applied a redish/ orangish color right above the crease and down towards the outer corner.
Step 6: For our last and final step we just highlighted. We used a white/ pearly color to highlight the brown bone along with the inner corner. Woolah! You're finished!

Tips;
What we did to achieve the perfect shape was use eye makeup removing wipes. We carefully wiped along and around the eyes where we had excess eye shadow. It made things so much easier :P

We hope you like it!
